Ooty – In the Arms of Love
After the endless meetings, success parties, and press calls…
Veeresh finally shut his laptop, looked at Poornima, and said:
> “Pack your bags, Mrs. Gowda.
We’re going to Ooty. Just you, me… and the silence I’ve been craving with you.”
Poornima blinked. “Ooty?”
> “Yes. No deadlines, no work, no stress.
Just your sarees, my camera, and us.”
She laughed softly, the first real laugh after weeks.
And by the next morning, they were driving through misty roads, windows down, her dupatta flying, and Veeresh stealing glances at her more than watching the road.

The Cottage in the Hills
They reached a cozy wooden cottage surrounded by tea estates and tall pines.
Poornima wore a soft pastel saree, her hair loose, cheeks glowing from the chill.
Veeresh couldn’t stop staring.
> “Why are you looking at me like that?” she asked shyly.
> “Because… every time I think I’ve seen all of you… you surprise me,” he said, pulling her by the waist.
He backhugged her again like he always did, but this time, it was different.
The wind, the silence, the warmth of the fire inside… everything made it magical.

The Intense Moments
Inside the room, Veeresh picked up his DSLR and began clicking.
> “Turn,”
“Look here,”
“Smile,”
“Don’t smile—just look at me.”
Poornima blushed. “Stop it!”
He moved closer. “You’re the only muse I want. And tonight… I want to frame you in every way.”
He put down the camera and kissed her. Not rushed. Deep. Consuming. Intense.
His hands moved around her waist. He lifted her slightly and sat her on the window sill.
> “You’re mine, Poornima. In the middle of these hills, I want the whole world to know you’re mine.”
He kissed her neck, slowly, possessively.
> “Veeresh…” she whispered, eyes fluttering.
He smiled, brushing her lips again.
> “Let’s freeze this moment forever.”

Dinner, Firelight, and Forever
They had a simple dinner — hot soup, bread, and each other’s laughter.
Wrapped in a single shawl, sitting by the fire, Veeresh laid his head on Poornima’s lap.
> “Do you remember the girl who once pushed me away?” he teased.
> “Yes,” she smiled, running her fingers through his hair.
“And I remember the man who said ‘I’ll change the agreement’.”
He chuckled, then looked up at her with the same fire in his eyes.
> “And I did.
I changed the agreement into a forever.
You’re not just my wife.
You’re my world, Poornima.”
Poornima kissed his forehead gently and whispered:
> “And I’m not just your wife…
I’m the woman who’ll walk every mountain with you.”
