Chapter 16 – Forever Bound

Veeresh’s arms slipped around her waist from behind, pulling her against the hard wall of his chest. His breath brushed against her ear, his lips grazing her cheek before trailing down her neck in slow, deliberate kisses.

“Let’s consummate this marriage,” he whispered, his voice low, filled with hunger and emotion.

Poornima’s lips parted, her voice trembling. “Veer…”

But before she could say more, Veeresh simply turned her in his arms, his dark eyes burning into hers. With no hesitation, he swept her into his arms, lifting her as though she weighed nothing.

She clutched his shirt, her heart pounding, as he laid her gently on the bed scattered with roses.

His gaze softened for a heartbeat — and then his mouth claimed hers again, kissing her deeply, passionately, pouring years of restrained emotions into every touch.

Slowly, the distance between them dissolved. Their clothes were discarded, forgotten, as Veeresh kissed her like she was his oxygen, his salvation. His lips marked her shoulders, her throat, every place he had once only dreamed of.

And Poornima… she gave herself completely. Not just to her best friend, not just to the boy she once knew, but to the man who was now her husband, her forever.

The night filled with their whispers, their kisses, their shared breaths — raw and unrestrained, yet tender and whole.

When at last exhaustion took them, Veeresh pulled her close, their bodies tangled, her head resting on his chest. Their heartbeats synced, steady and sure.

And as sleep claimed them, one truth settled between them —

They weren’t just best friends anymore.

They were husband and wife.

Bound in love, passion, and forever.
