Chapter 46: Silent Blessings

At breakfast, Sharada and Abhimanyu quietly observed the way Veeresh and Poornima sat together. There were no declarations, no grand gestures—but their eyes, their unspoken bond, said everything. Poornima served him without being asked, and Veeresh, for the first time, accepted without ego.

Sharada caught Abhimanyu’s gaze and smiled faintly. They didn’t say a word, but in their hearts, they finally felt at peace. Their son had chosen right—and perhaps love had truly won over all storms.

After breakfast, Poornima left for her hotel meetings while Veeresh prepared to head to his office. Before leaving, he looked back once, watching her climb into her car with calm determination. His lips curved into a rare smile.

Later at Raj Industries, Veeresh leaned back in his chair, going over files when Rayan entered.

“So?” Rayan smirked knowingly. “Things are falling into place, right?”

Veeresh’s expression softened, though he didn’t admit it outright. “Hmm. Slowly, but yes. She’s opening to me.”

Rayan grinned wide. “Good. Now the next step—plan for babies soon.”

Veeresh shot him a sharp glare, though a faint smirk tugged at his lips. “Don’t cross the line, Rayan.”

But Rayan only laughed. “Come on, boss. You’re Veeresh Raj. You’ve conquered empires. But the real victory will be when Mrs. Raj is carrying your heir. Then the world will know—this love is unbreakable.”

For once, Veeresh didn’t shut him down harshly. He only looked out of the glass window, imagining a future he hadn’t dared to before. A future with Poornima. With children. With the family he never thought he needed.

And for the first time in years, Veeresh Raj allowed himself to hope.
