Chapter 39 – Love and Laughter

Veeresh was dressed in his sharp formal suit, every line of his posture radiating authority. Poornima wore a simple, elegant kurta, her hair tied back loosely. As they prepared to leave, Veeresh pulled her close without warning, his eyes dark and intent.

Before she could react, he kissed her—deep, passionate, and demanding. Poornima melted into him, returning the kiss happily, her hands running along his chest. He deepened it further, pouring all his emotions into that one intimate moment.

Suddenly, little voices called from the hallway.

“Mama! Appa!”

Poornima giggled and gently pushed him back.

“Not now, Veeresh! The kids are calling.”

Veeresh smirked, holding her wrist lightly. “Not fair! I need my time too.”

Poornima laughed, shaking her head. “I am giving you time.”

He leaned closer, a teasing glint in his eyes. “Not enough,” he murmured, before letting go.

Moments later, all four of them—Veeresh, Poornima, Anaya, and Aarav—headed out the door, laughter filling the car as they made their way to Fun World. The morning sun reflected off Veeresh’s broad shoulders, while Poornima’s smile was as bright as the day itself.

It was a day of pure joy, a day where love, family, and laughter intertwined seamlessly, leaving the past behind and embracing the present together.
