Chapter 48 – Chocolate Date Under the Stars

The room was quiet, bathed in the soft glow of the veranda lights. Veeresh and Poornima stood close, lips meeting in a slow, lingering kiss that made their hearts race.

“I can’t get enough of you,” Veeresh murmured against her lips, his hands holding her firmly, as if he’d never let her go.

Poornima smiled, her breath catching, and kissed his cheeks in return. “Veeresh…” she whispered softly, already melting in his presence.

He pulled back just enough to grin wickedly. “You make it impossible for me to focus on anything else.”

They stepped out to the veranda, a tray in Poornima’s hands with steaming tea and a small bowl of chocolate—Veeresh’s favorite. She handed him a cup, and he took it, brushing a thumb over hers in a quiet, possessive gesture.

They sat close together, knees touching, gazing at the night sky. The city lights twinkled far below, but all Veeresh could see was Poornima.

She offered him a piece of chocolate, and when he bit into it, he smirked and leaned in, pressing a deep, lingering kiss to her lips. Poornima laughed softly, letting him claim the kiss as if it belonged to him—and in that moment, it did.

They sipped tea, nibbled chocolate, and shared quiet whispers, their hands intertwined. Veeresh’s arm wrapped around her shoulders, pulling her close, while she rested her head against his chest.

“I could stay like this forever,” Veeresh murmured, lips brushing her hair.

Poornima lifted her gaze to meet his, eyes shining. “Me too… I want every moment with you like this.”

The night passed slowly, wrapped in warmth, love, and stolen kisses. For Veeresh and Poornima, even a simple tea and chocolate on the veranda became a memory to treasure—a quiet moment that belonged entirely to them.
