The veranda was quiet, the city lights twinkling in the distance. Veeresh and Poornima sat close, knees brushing, their hands intertwined over the tray of tea and chocolate.
Veeresh leaned closer, his lips grazing her ear.
“You know… every time I look at you, I want you more,” he murmured, voice low and husky.
Poornima shivered, tilting her head back to meet his gaze. “Veeresh…”
He smirked, brushing a stray lock of hair from her face. “Don’t sound so shy, jaan. You belong to me… and I’m going to remind you, every day.”
She laughed softly, feeling warmth spread through her chest. “I don’t mind, Veeresh. I… I love being yours.”
A teasing glint appeared in his eyes. “Only mine? That’s good. But you better remember—I claim more than your heart, jaan.”
Before she could respond, he pressed a deep, demanding kiss to her lips. Poornima melted into him, fingers tangling in his hair as he deepened the kiss, holding her close against his chest.
Breaking the kiss slightly, he grinned. “Chocolate… your idea, huh? I like how you spoil me.”
She giggled, offering him another piece. “Only because you love it so much. You’re predictable, you know that?”
Veeresh’s eyes darkened with playful dominance. “Predictable… maybe. But only when it comes to you. You, jaan, are my obsession.”
Poornima blushed, resting her head against his shoulder. “Then I guess I don’t mind being your obsession.”
He kissed the top of her head, lingering there, and whispered against her hair. “Tonight, I’m going to make sure you remember exactly how mine you are.”
They sipped tea and shared chocolate, occasionally stealing quick, heated kisses. Veeresh’s hand found her waist again, pulling her close, his thumb brushing over her side. Each touch, each brush of lips, sent shivers through her.
Finally, they leaned back, gazing at the stars above. The night air was soft, carrying the scent of the gardens below. Poornima nestled against him, feeling the steady beat of his heart.
“I could stay like this forever,” Veeresh murmured, his lips brushing her hair.
“I want every moment like this,” Poornima whispered, smiling up at him.
He tilted her chin, capturing her lips in another deep kiss. “Good. Then you will. Mine. Always.”
And so they stayed—Veeresh and Poornima, wrapped in warmth, love, and quiet intensity—under the night sky, a stolen world just for them, where passion and tenderness met, and hearts intertwined completely.
