✨ Marked by the Villain — Chapter 47: Planning Futures ✨

---

The streets of London were alive with evening lights, the air crisp and fragrant with the faint scent of baked goods from nearby cafes. Poornima and Veeresh walked side by side, her hand slipping easily into his. Their laughter blended with the soft hum of the city, a melody of peace that Veeresh hadn’t known in years.

Poornima glanced up at him with a mischievous smile.

> “Do you love kids?” she asked casually, her eyes sparkling.

Veeresh blinked, caught off guard by the sudden question. He opened his mouth, hesitated, then answered carefully,

> “Why do you ask?”

She tilted her head, grinning.

> “Because…” she leaned closer, lowering her voice playfully, “we should have three kids.”

Veeresh choked slightly on his words, coughs interrupting his disbelief. The thought had barely crossed his mind, yet here she was, speaking so directly, so confidently.

> “Three… kids?” he repeated, his sharp tone mixed with incredulity.

> “Yes,” she said, teasingly tapping his arm. “One like me, one like you, and one… surprise.”

Veeresh’s lips twitched into a rare smile. He stared at her, a mix of amusement and shock dancing in his eyes. Inside, he thought, She’s ordering me. She’s actually ordering me to have kids.

> “You’re bold,” he murmured, shaking his head with a chuckle, his hand squeezing hers gently.

“I think… I like this bold version of you.”

Poornima laughed, her voice light and infectious, skipping a little step as she led him down a side street lined with glowing lamps.

> “Well, don’t get too comfortable,” she teased. “I have a plan, and you’re going to follow it. Whether you like it or not.”

Veeresh followed her, shaking his head but smiling beneath his cold exterior.

> She’s fearless, unafraid… and now she’s planning our future. Like she owns my life.

He leaned slightly toward her, lowering his voice into a soft, teasing growl.

> “Careful, Ruby. Keep speaking like that, and I might just agree to all three.”

Poornima giggled, looking up at him.

> “Then it’s settled,” she said with mock seriousness, “you and me… and three little R’s running around.”

Veeresh’s mind raced — part of him terrified of the responsibility, part of him thrilled at the thought. But mostly, he was captivated by her confidence, her dreams, and the way she made even the impossible feel like a plan.

He chuckled softly, leaning his shoulder against hers as they continued down the London streets.

> This woman… she doesn’t just own my heart. She’s already drafting our future.

And Veeresh, the ruthless underworld don, found himself completely, utterly happy following her lead
