Chapter 76 — Names Written in Love

The house came alive the day Poornima and the babies were discharged.

Soft laughter filled every corner, mingling with the gentle cries of two newborns who had already claimed the hearts of everyone around them. Flowers decorated the entrance, lamps glowed warmly, and the air carried the comfort of home.

The naming ceremony was simple, intimate—exactly the way Poornima wanted it.

Veeresh stood beside her, one arm around her shoulder, the other carefully supporting the twins. His eyes never left them, as if memorising every breath, every tiny movement.

The priest announced the names.

“Innayat,” Poornima whispered, her fingers brushing her daughter’s cheek—a blessing.
“And Agastya,” Veeresh said softly, looking at his son with pride—strength and wisdom.

Applause followed, but the loudest joy came from the children.

Rudra moved around confidently, guiding guests. Mannat ensured everything was perfect. Ramir handled arrangements like a pro, while Kayan and Kavya helped serve food, laughing and teasing each other like true siblings.

A family—whole and complete.

Veeresh watched them, emotion rising in his chest. He stepped forward, his voice steady but filled with feeling.

“I am lucky,” he said. “And truly blessed to have all of you in my life.”

Before he could say more, the kids surrounded him, hugging him tightly.

“We love you, Dada,” they said together.

His arms closed around them instinctively, holding on as if this moment was his anchor.

Poornima watched it all quietly from her seat, twins resting peacefully in her arms. A soft smile curved on her lips—one that held relief, gratitude, and a love so deep it no longer needed words.

This was not a perfect family.

It was something far more beautiful.

It was theirs.
