Chapter 23: A New Journey

The next day, Poornima said bye to Zara.

Zara hugged her firmly.

Neither wanted to let go.

Airav did not speak to her.

But Poornima still looked at him and said,

"Beta, take care and be happy."

Airav remained silent.

Veeresh saw everything.

He didn't say anything.

Then Poornima looked at him and asked,

"Thakur ji, can Zara and Airav visit us?"

Veeresh looked at her and said,

"She can always. She is family."

Poornima looked at him.

And Veeresh continued,

"She can stay with us also in haveli."

"She doesn't need any permission."

Zara's eyes immediately became emotional.

"Thank you, Uncle."

Veeresh smiled.

Soon it was time to leave.

They both left for the airport.

During the journey, Veeresh looked at Poornima and said,

"Once we enter the village, we will get married."

Poornima looked at him.

And Veeresh said,

"Because women believe lot in tradition."

He held her hand.

And said,

"It will take time but I am there."

Poornima smiled.

Veeresh gently squeezed her hand.

And they continued their journey to Rajgarh together.
