Chapter 68: The Investor Meeting

The next morning, VR Industries Headquarters, Rajgarh was bustling with activity.

Senior executives moved quickly through the corridors, making final preparations.

In the boardroom, presentation screens were ready, reports were neatly arranged, and refreshments had been placed on the table.

Veeresh entered wearing a charcoal-grey suit.

The management team immediately stood up.

Executive: "Good morning, sir."

Veeresh: "Good morning."

He placed his laptop on the table.

Veeresh: "Has the investor arrived?"

Executive: "Yes, sir. They reached ten minutes ago."

Veeresh: "Let's begin."

A few moments later, the investors entered the conference room.

They shook hands with Veeresh.

Lead Investor: "Mr. Rathore, thank you for having us."

Veeresh: "The pleasure is mine. Welcome to VR Industries."

Everyone took their seats.

The presentation began.

The screen displayed the company's achievements over the past few years.

Veeresh confidently addressed the room.

Veeresh: "VR Industries started as a regional manufacturing company."

He changed the slide.

Veeresh: "Today, we have expanded into renewable energy, infrastructure, hospitality, agriculture, and sustainable manufacturing."

The investors listened attentively.

One of them asked,

Investor: "What makes your company different from your competitors?"

Veeresh smiled.

Veeresh: "We don't invest only for profits."

He continued,

Veeresh: "Every project creates employment for local communities."

Another slide appeared showing schools, hospitals, water projects, and skill-development centres.

Veeresh: "Business grows only when society grows with it."

The investors nodded.

Another investor leaned forward.

Investor: "We noticed your investment in rural development."

Veeresh smiled proudly.

Veeresh: "Rajgarh is my home."

He looked around the room.

Veeresh: "If my people grow, my business grows."

The discussion continued for nearly two hours.

They spoke about future expansion, environmental sustainability, technology upgrades, financial projections, and international partnerships.

After reviewing the financial reports, the lead investor smiled.

Lead Investor: "Mr. Rathore..."

He closed the file.

Lead Investor: "We're impressed."

The board members exchanged relieved smiles.

Lead Investor: "We'd like to move forward with the partnership."

Veeresh stood up and shook hands with him.

Veeresh: "Thank you."

Lead Investor: "We believe VR Industries has a strong future."

The agreement documents were brought in.

Both parties carefully reviewed every clause before signing.

After the signatures were complete, everyone applauded.

One of the directors smiled.

Director: "Congratulations, sir."

Veeresh nodded.

Veeresh: "This success belongs to everyone at VR Industries."

As the meeting concluded, his phone vibrated.

He looked at the wallpaper.

It was a candid photograph of Poornima smiling with Ayat, Aarhan, Yash, Aarav, and Aadhya.

A small smile appeared on his face.

He looked at the time.

Veeresh: "Perfect."

He picked up his car keys.

Veeresh: "Now..."

He smiled to himself.

Veeresh: "...it's time to go to Bikaner."

With the successful meeting behind him, Veeresh left VR Industries, eager to join his family and celebrate their first Eid together.
