The room was quiet.

Poornima rested her head on Veeresh's shoulder while he absent-mindedly played with a strand of her hair.

A smile slowly appeared on his face.

She pointed towards the bed.

Just as she was about to lie down on her side of the bed, he gently caught her wrist and pulled her towards him.

She landed against his chest with a small laugh.

He wrapped an arm around her.

Veeresh: "Now we can sleep."

She shook her head with a smile but didn't move away.

Instead, she rested comfortably in his embrace.

Veeresh: "Good night, Poons."
