Chapter 54 — Building Her Dream

The next few days were spent turning Poornima's plans into reality.

Veeresh personally spoke to the property owner.

But this time, he made one thing very clear to everyone involved.

He would not use his political position or influence to get the property.

He wanted everything to be done properly.

Veeresh: "We'll follow the legal process. I don't want any special treatment."

The property owner agreed, and the necessary documents were reviewed carefully.

Once everything was verified, Poornima went through the documents herself.

She read every page before signing.

Veeresh stood beside her, but he didn't interfere.

Veeresh: "Read everything properly before you sign."

Poornima nodded.

Poornima: "I know."

After she was satisfied with the documents, Poornima signed the papers.

The land was officially hers.

She looked at Veeresh with a huge smile.

Poornima: "Veer... I actually bought the land."

Veeresh smiled.

Veeresh: "You did."

Poornima looked around the property.

For a moment, she could already imagine the restaurant standing there.

Then construction began.

Poornima was involved in every decision.

She personally selected the flooring, walls, lighting, furniture, kitchen equipment, tables, chairs and every other material.

When the builder presented the designs, Poornima carefully explained what she wanted.

Poornima: "I want the dining area exactly like this."

She showed him the layout she had prepared.

Poornima: "The kitchen should remain here, and I want enough space for the staff to move comfortably."

She pointed toward another section.

Poornima: "The family dining area should be here. And don't change this entrance."

The builder nodded.

Builder: "We'll follow the design."

Poornima continued explaining every detail.

She didn't want someone else deciding what her dream restaurant should look like.

She had designed it herself.

And she wanted it exactly that way.

Veeresh watched from the side.

Every time someone suggested changing something, Poornima would look at the original design and explain why she wanted it differently.

Eventually, the construction team understood.

They followed her drawings.

They followed her measurements.

They followed her choices.

And slowly, the restaurant began to look exactly like the dream she had created on her laptop.

One evening, Poornima stood in the unfinished dining area and looked around.

Veeresh walked up beside her.

Veeresh: "Happy?"

Poornima smiled.

Poornima: "Very."

She looked at the walls.

Poornima: "It's actually happening."

Veeresh looked at her.

Veeresh: "You built it."

Poornima smiled softly.

Poornima: "I had a dream."

She looked around again.

Poornima: "Now I'm making it real."

Veeresh smiled.

He knew this wasn't just a restaurant anymore.

It was the first thing Poornima had built entirely for herself after everything that had happened.

And he was proud of her.
