Chapter 60 — Everything Is Fair in Love and War
Poornima looked at Veeresh with disbelief, still holding his phone in her hand.
Poornima: "How dare you stalk your own wife's profile?"
Veeresh tried to remain serious.
Veeresh: "I was just—"
Poornima immediately interrupted him.
Poornima: "Just what?"
Veeresh sighed.
Veeresh: "Just checking your profile."
Poornima narrowed her eyes.
Poornima: "Checking it every day from an unknown account?"
Veeresh gave her a small smile.
Veeresh: "Maybe."
Poornima shook her head.
Poornima: "You're sleeping in the study room tonight."
Veeresh's smile disappeared.
Veeresh: "That is not good."
Poornima: "You should have thought about that before stalking your wife’s profile."
Veeresh looked at Bubba.
Veeresh: "Bubba, very bad."
Noor looked at him innocently.
Noor: "What did I do, Papa?"
Veeresh: "You told Mumma."
Noor smiled mischievously.
Noor: "Because you were stalking Mumma."
Poornima tried not to laugh.
Veeresh shook his head.
Veeresh: "You're definitely my daughter."
Noor proudly placed her hands on her hips.
Noor: "Papa, everything is fair in love and war."
Veeresh stared at her.
Poornima burst out laughing.
Poornima: "Who taught you that?"
Noor pointed at Veeresh.
Noor: "Papa."
Veeresh immediately looked offended.
Veeresh: "I did not teach her that."
Poornima shook her head, laughing.
Poornima: "Both of you are impossible."
Veeresh smiled.
Veeresh: "So... am I still sleeping in the study?"
Poornima looked at him.
Poornima: "Absolutely."
Veeresh sighed dramatically.
Veeresh: "My own wife is punishing me."
Poornima handed his phone back.
Poornima: "Next time, think before you stalk your wife."
Veeresh smiled quietly.
Veeresh: "Yes, madam."
