The next morning, Veeresh asked Rukmini to meet him.

Rukmini arrived without knowing how serious he was.

Veeresh looked at her coldly.

Rukmini looked at him.

Veeresh: "No. You have no right to poison my daughter's mind."

Veeresh: "Bubba is my daughter. She is Poornima's daughter. She is part of our family, and nobody has the right to make her feel unwanted."

He stepped closer, his voice firm.

Veeresh: "If I see you near my wife or my children again and you try to fill their minds with such things, I will not stay quiet."

Rukmini looked away.

Veeresh: "You may be my wife's sister, but that does not give you the right to hurt her or my children."

Poornima, who had been standing nearby, stepped forward.

Poornima: "Didi, stay away from my family."

Rukmini looked at her.

Poornima: "Next time you do something like this, I won't keep quiet."

Her voice was calm but firm.

Poornima: "Bubba is our daughter. She doesn't deserve to hear that she will be sent away or that she isn't loved."

Veeresh placed his hand gently on Poornima's shoulder.

Poornima: "My sons are her brothers. She is their sister. Nothing will change that."

Veeresh nodded.

Veeresh: "Exactly."

Poornima looked directly at Rukmini.

Poornima: "You don't have to love me, Didi. You don't even have to accept me as your replacement bride. But don't ever make Bubba feel like she doesn't belong."

Rukmini remained silent.

Veeresh took Poornima's hand.

Poornima nodded.

They walked away together, leaving Rukmini standing there.
