Epilogue — Once Again, In Every Lifetime
It was their anniversary.
After everything they had been through, Veeresh and Poornima had finally reached a place where their love felt peaceful.
That evening, Veeresh took Poornima's hand and looked into her eyes.
Veeresh: "Poons, will you marry me again?"
Poornima smiled, her eyes filling with emotion.
Poornima: "Yes, Veer. I will."
They decided to keep it simple.
The next day, they went to a temple together and quietly completed the wedding rituals. Later, they had a small nikah, with only the two of them present, keeping the moment private and sacred.
After everything was completed, Veeresh looked at Poornima.
Veeresh: "I would marry you in every lifetime, Poons."
Poornima smiled through her tears.
She pulled him closer and kissed him.
When they parted, Veeresh gently held her face.
Veeresh: "You're my greatest sin, Poons."
He smiled softly.
Veeresh: "Something I thought was a sin became the most holy thing in my life."
Poornima rested her forehead against his.
Poornima: "Then I'm glad you committed that sin, Veer."
They both laughed softly.
Veeresh held her hand tightly.
Veeresh: "Once wasn't enough."
Poornima: "Then choose me every time."
Veeresh: "Every lifetime."
And once again, they chose each other—not because anyone had arranged their marriage, but because this time, they had both freely chosen to say yes.
