Chapter 12 – Shreya’s Wedding and Bidaai

The wedding day finally arrived.

The Rajawat haveli was glowing with lights, flowers, and decorations. Every corner was filled with happiness and excitement.

Shreya looked beautiful in her bridal lehenga, her hands covered with the mehendi she had received the previous day.

Rohit arrived with his baraat, surrounded by his family and friends.

The music filled the entire street as the baraat reached the Rajawat haveli.

Rahul stood at the entrance, waiting for his daughter’s groom.

Revati stood beside him, smiling proudly.

After the traditional welcome, Rohit entered the haveli.

The wedding rituals began soon after.

Shreya and Rohit sat together beneath the beautifully decorated mandap.

The priest began the sacred rituals.

Their families watched with emotional smiles.

When it was time for the varmala, Shreya shyly placed the garland around Rohit's neck.

Everyone clapped.

Rohit smiled and placed his garland around her.

Later, they took the pheras around the sacred fire.

With every round, they promised to stand beside each other through every happiness and difficulty.

Finally, Rohit applied sindoor to Shreya's forehead and tied the mangalsutra around her neck.

The priest smiled.

Kul Purohit Ji: "From today, you are husband and wife. May you always remain together."

Everyone blessed the newly married couple.

Rahul's eyes became emotional as he looked at his daughter.

She was no longer the little girl who used to run around the haveli.

She was now someone's wife.

After the rituals were completed, it was time for the bidaai.

The atmosphere changed completely.

The laughter disappeared.

Shreya stood near the entrance with tears in her eyes.

Revati hugged her daughter tightly.

Revati: "Be happy, beta."

Shreya began crying.

Shreya: "Maa..."

Revati held her even tighter.

Revati: "Don't cry. Always remember that this is still your home."

Rahul stood a little away, trying hard to control his tears.

Shreya walked toward him.

Shreya: "Papa..."

Rahul opened his arms.

She immediately hugged him.

Rahul: "My little girl."

His voice broke.

Rahul: "Always take care of yourself."

Shreya: "I will, Papa."

Rahul kissed her forehead.

Rahul: "And don't forget us."

Shreya cried harder.

Shreya: "Never."

Gayathri and Aravind also blessed her.

Kamala hugged her and whispered prayers for her happiness.

Poornima stood nearby with tears in her eyes.

Shreya suddenly noticed her.

Shreya: "Bua..."

Poornima walked toward her.

Shreya hugged her tightly.

Poornima: "Be happy, Shreya."

Shreya: "I'll miss you."

Poornima smiled through her tears.

Poornima: "I'll miss you too."

Veeresh stood slightly away from everyone, watching silently.

Shreya looked toward him.

Shreya: "Chacha."

Veeresh walked toward her.

Shreya folded her hands.

Veeresh placed his hand on her head.

Veeresh: "Be happy."

Shreya hugged him unexpectedly.

For a moment, Veeresh stood still.

Then he gently placed his hand on her back.

Shreya: "I'll miss you, Chacha."

Veeresh: "I'll see you again."

She smiled through her tears.

Finally, Shreya and Rohit walked toward the car.

Before getting inside, Shreya turned around and looked at her family one last time.

Her eyes filled with tears again.

She threw the traditional handfuls of rice behind her toward her family, symbolizing her gratitude and the blessings she was leaving behind.

Everyone became emotional.

Rahul wiped his tears.

Revati cried openly.

The car slowly began moving.

Shreya looked through the window until the haveli disappeared from her sight.

And as the car left, the Rajawat family stood silently at the gate.

A daughter had left her childhood home.

A new chapter of her life had begun.

And inside that same haveli, another unexpected love story was quietly waiting to begin.
