Chapter 30 — The Pag Phera Invitation

The Qureshi family was gathered in the living room when Abhram's phone rang.

He looked at the screen.

Abhram: It's Devraj.

He answered the call.

Abhram: Namaste, Devraj ji.

Devraj: Namaste, Abhram ji. I wanted to ask you something.

Abhram: Of course. Please tell me.

Devraj: Can you send Ritika, Arnav and Rishi to our house for the Pag Phera rasam?

Abhram smiled.

Abhram: Absolutely. Ritika should come home for the ceremony.

Devraj: We would be very happy to have all three of them here.

Abhram: I'll speak to them and send them.

Devraj: Thank you. We are looking forward to seeing them.

Abhram: We are looking forward to it too.

They ended the call.

Shabana immediately looked at him.

Shabana: What did Devraj ji say?

Abhram smiled.

Abhram: He invited Arnav, Ritika and Rishi for Pag Phera.

Rehnaa smiled warmly.

Rehnaa: That's wonderful.

Shabana: Ritika will be so happy to see her family.

Abhram nodded.

Abhram: Yes. And perhaps this will also give Arnav another opportunity to understand her world.

Rehnaa: And Rishi will get to spend time with his grandparents.

Shabana smiled.

Shabana: Let's tell them when Arnav comes home.

Rehnaa: Yes.

Everyone looked forward to the ceremony.

For Ritika, it would be her first visit to her parental home after becoming Arnav's wife.

And this time, she would return not as a daughter alone, but with her husband and her son beside her.
