Chapter 81 — A Jealous Mamu

Everyone had gathered in the Singh mansion, enjoying the afternoon together.

Devraj looked at Ritika.

Devraj: Beta, how is Rishi's training going?

Ritika smiled.

Ritika: It's going well, Papa. He calls whenever he gets time. He sounds tired sometimes, but he's happy and completely focused on his training.

Rukmini smiled.

Rukmini: That's good. He has always been determined.

Arnav nodded proudly.

Arnav: He's doing well.

Arjun looked toward the garden and suddenly grinned.

Arjun: I can see that Veer is burning with jealousy.

Everyone turned toward Veeresh.

Veeresh was standing nearby, watching Arhaan and Thoshini talking.

Arhaan was happily showing Thoshini something on his phone while she smiled.

Veeresh: What are you all looking at?

Arjun: You.

Veeresh: Me?

Arjun: Yes. Look at your face.

Siya started laughing.

Rajshree: Veer, you're actually jealous.

Veeresh: I'm not jealous!

Aravind: Then why are you staring at Arhaan like he's stolen your daughter?

Everyone burst out laughing.

Poornima shook her head.

Poornima: Veer, leave them alone. Arhaan is just talking to Thoshini.

Veeresh: I know. But why does he have to bring her flowers?

Arhaan heard him from across the room.

Arhaan: Because Thoshini likes tulips, Veer Mamu.

Veeresh: See! That's exactly what I'm talking about!

Everyone laughed even louder.

Devraj smiled.

Devraj: Veer, she's your daughter, not your prisoner.

Rukmini: Let the children talk.

Veeresh looked at Arhaan suspiciously.

Veeresh: I'm keeping an eye on you, young man.

Arhaan smiled confidently.

Arhaan: I know, Veer Mamu.

Thoshini giggled.

Veeresh: And you're enjoying this, aren't you?

Arhaan: Maybe.

Arjun laughed.

Arjun: Veer is finished.

Arnav shook his head, amused.

Arnav: My son has finally found someone who can make Veeresh lose his temper.

Poornima: And apparently, Arhaan knows exactly what he's doing.

Veeresh: Poornima!

Everyone laughed again as Veeresh stood there, completely outnumbered.

For once, the entire family was enjoying watching the usually confident Veeresh become a jealous father.
