Later that evening, Veeresh found Poornima sitting with a cup of tea.

He walked toward her, still looking irritated.

Poornima looked up, amused.

Veeresh sat beside her.

Poornima immediately smiled.

Poornima burst out laughing.

Then she started laughing again.

Poornima smiled.

Poornima: Veer, our daughter is growing up. You can't decide everything for her.

Veeresh: I know.

Poornima: And Arhaan didn't say she belonged to him.

She smiled.

Poornima: He said she will choose.

Veeresh became quiet.

Poornima: That is what matters.

Veeresh sighed and looked toward the garden where Thoshini and Arhaan were talking.

Veeresh: Still...

Poornima: Still what?

Veeresh: He's Arnav's son.

Poornima laughed.

Poornima: Exactly.

Veeresh groaned.

Veeresh: I'm doomed.

Poornima leaned against his shoulder, laughing.

Poornima: Looks like our little girl already found someone who isn't afraid of her father.
