Chapter 84 — My Tulips
The family was on their way home.
Arhaan sat in the back seat with Ritika while Arnav drove.
For a few minutes, he remained unusually quiet.
Then he suddenly spoke.
Arhaan: Baba...
Arnav: Hmm?
Arhaan: I like Thoshini.
Ritika turned around and looked at him.
Arnav glanced at him through the rear-view mirror.
Arhaan smiled.
Arhaan: She is my tulips in the garden.
Ritika couldn't help smiling.
Arnav: First finish studying.
Arhaan: I will.
Arnav: And then you can worry about anything else.
He paused.
Arnav: And stop threatening your Mamu.
Arhaan laughed.
Arhaan: Baba, I was just telling him to take care of my future wife.
Arnav: She's not your wife yet.
Arhaan nodded.
Arnav: And remember, Thoshini has the right to choose.
Arhaan became serious.
Arhaan: I know, Baba.
He looked out of the window for a moment.
Arhaan: I know she has the right to choose.
Then he smiled.
Arhaan: But my heart tells me she's the one.
Ritika looked at him affectionately.
Arhaan: I'll study.
He continued confidently.
Arhaan: I'll work hard.
Arhaan: And one day, I'll marry my tulips.
Arnav smiled.
Arnav: That's better.
Ritika: Just remember, Arhaan, liking someone means respecting their choice too.
Arhaan: I know, Mumma.
He suddenly grinned.
Arhaan: And Baba...
Arnav: What now?
Arhaan: Rudra likes Ayat.
Ritika's eyes widened.
Ritika: What?
Arhaan burst out laughing.
Arnav shook his head.
Arnav: One problem at a time, Arhaan.
Arhaan: I'm just telling you!
Ritika laughed.
Arnav: First you and Thoshini, now Rudra and Ayat.
He sighed dramatically.
Arnav: This family is becoming complicated.
Arhaan smiled proudly.
Arhaan: My family, Baba.
Arnav glanced at him through the mirror and smiled.
Arnav: Yes, champ.
Ritika quietly watched them, smiling.
The Qureshi family had certainly grown.
And apparently, the next generation had already started creating their own love stories.
