Chapter 3

Likitha Roy was a widow with a six-month-old daughter, Kalyani. Her husband, Mahesh Roy, had died in an accident.

After his death, Likitha lived with her father, Aravind Rathore, her mother, Nandini Rathore, and her brother Veeresh Rathore and his wife, Poornima Rathore.

Aravind was a successful businessman and the owner of Rathore Industries. Later, he passed the company to his son Veeresh. Under Aravind's guidance, Veeresh took Rathore Industries to great heights, and the company became recognised globally.

Veeresh and Poornima's marriage had started as a business marriage, but Poornima was deeply loved by her in-laws.

Veeresh was cold by nature, but he loved Poornima wholeheartedly.

On their wedding night, Veeresh had made one thing clear to her.

Veeresh: I know everyone thinks this marriage is because of business, but I am not married to you for business.

Poornima looked at him quietly.

Veeresh: I want us to try this marriage. I want to see where our relationship takes us.

Poornima had never wanted a business marriage, and hearing those words made her happy.

Slowly, their relationship turned into love.

After one year of their marriage, Poornima gave birth to twins, Rudra and Ram.

The entire Rathore family was overjoyed.

Aravind and Nandini loved their grandsons, and Veeresh was completely devoted to his children.

Likitha was also deeply loved by everyone in the family.

Despite losing Mahesh, she never felt alone because her family always stood beside her.

Nandini treated Likitha like her own daughter, Aravind was always protective of her, and Veeresh made sure his sister and Kalyani were always safe.

Poornima was especially close to Likitha.

Poornima: You and Kalyani are not alone. We are all here for you.

Likitha smiled softly and looked at her little daughter sleeping peacefully in her arms.

Likitha: I know.

Kalyani was only six months old, but she had already become the little princess of the Rathore family.

The Rathore household was filled with love, laughter and the innocent sounds of Rudra, Ram and little Kalyani.
